In the last decade, Gujarat witnessed about 10% growth in agriculture as against 3% witnessed by the nation. This feat can be attributed to factors like adoption of rain water conservation, efficient water resource manage-ment, taking uninter-rupted electricity
to villages, drip irrigation and tech-nology usage in agricul-ture. Over this period, it has been observed that thousands of Indian farmers (including Gujarat) visited Israel to get first hand ex-perience of advance farm-ing technologies every year.
